Telecommunications Engineering Programme was established in February 2003. The Programme was formerly managed by Electrical Engineering Department. It has given under administration of Electronics Engineering Department from July, 2007.
The first batch of 26 students was admitted during the 2002-03 Academic session which has been passed out in Jan 2006. The student strength has been increased to 70 from the 2006-07 Academic session.
At Undergraduate Level, the Department is offering B.E. Degree in Telecommunications and at Post Graduate level, the Department is offering Master of Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, Evening Programme.
